The thesis of his tour — Mr. Claus was born in New York and this city more or less invented Christmas-as-we-know-it — is convincingly presented with intriguing facts and terrific stories. His route — Federal Hall, Gramercy Park, Madison Square, and beyond — takes us to sites that are both classic New York beauties and perfect settings for his Christmas spiel.

Me and a friend took the Heroes of the World Trade Center Tour in late April with Jared and it was one of the best things of our trip to New York. Jared made us understand more about what happened that day and how it affected the city and the people that lived and still live there. It was emotional but inspiring at the same time.
